I need to take some nicer photos of our living room room, but it’s admittedly with toddlers and a new puppy it’s still a work in progress. Can you get over this rug, though?! I’d been looking for a giant round rug that was unique and I was convinced that I was going to have to settle with a basic rug. And then this beauty came along. It’s huge, but it’s just the right size… and the design is unlike anything else. Anyway, I think it looks awesome, and I can’t wait to put the rest of the room together!

Some things to think about when trying to pick out the perfect rug:

If you are trying to decorate your living room pick a rug that will fill up the room. Make sure it’s proportionate. It looks good to have furniture laying over the top of the rug.

Pick a rug that will match the furniture and decor you are using. The style right now is neutral everything. So these are modern farmhouse rugs and neutral will look great with White and Gray decor.

Rugs can go all through out your entire house. Hallways and entryways are a favorite place for small rugs.

As you can see we added a runner by our front door to tie in the neutral colors .

It’s nice to build a handmade rug because you’re able to pick the exact colors and trim that would fit your door , floor and size.
